1. Who we are

Quantimental Capital Research (“QMCR”, “we”) is a SEBI-registered Research Analyst. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, how we use it, and your choices. 2. Information we collect

• Details you submit through our sign-up / contact forms: name, email address, mobile number, and your WhatsApp / Telegram opt-in preference.
• Usage & device data (first-party analytics): to understand how the site is used and to improve it, we collect anonymous usage data — pages viewed, time on page, scroll depth, and clicks on links and buttons — together with technical details such as device type, screen/viewport size, browser language, the referring page and any campaign (UTM) parameters in the link you arrived from. We also derive your approximate location — country, region and city — from your IP address at our infrastructure edge. If you are signed in to a Straddle Lab account, we store the IP address your requests come from, together with that approximate location, as part of your account’s usage and sign-in records, to operate and secure the service, investigate misuse of accounts and free trials, and meet our record-keeping obligations. If you are not signed in, we do not keep your IP address or your city in our usage records — those records hold only the broad country, and your region and city are counted into daily per-city totals that identify nobody. We do hold the IP address itself briefly, for up to 24 hours, purely as a counter that limits how fast any one visitor can hit our endpoints; that counter is not joined to your browsing. Separately, when you sign in, our authentication provider records the IP address of that sign-in against your account. This analytics data is first-party (held in our own systems, not sold or shared for advertising). For visitors who are not signed in it is not linked to your identity unless you also submit a form. If you are signed in to a Straddle Lab account, we associate your usage with your account to operate, secure and improve the service. We use anonymous identifiers stored in your browser’s local storage (not advertising cookies) to recognise sessions and returning visits.
• We do not collect trading account credentials, passwords or OTPs, and you should never share these with us or anyone else.

3. How we use it (purpose limitation)

• To contact you about our research services and updates, by email, phone and — only if you opt in — WhatsApp and/or Telegram.
• To respond to your enquiries and provide support.
• We use your information only for these purposes and do not sell it.

4. Sharing

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We may share it only with categories of service providers who help us operate — for example email/messaging providers, website hosting and infrastructure, and analytics — under appropriate confidentiality obligations and only to the extent necessary, or where required by law or by SEBI / regulatory or law-enforcement authorities.

5. Consent & your rights

• We collect and use your information on the basis of the consent you provide when you submit a form. WhatsApp and Telegram messaging is sent only if you explicitly opt in; phone/SMS only if you provide your mobile number.
• You have the right to access, correct, delete your personal information and to withdraw consent at any time — subject to any record-retention we are required to maintain under law or SEBI regulations.

6. Retention & security

We retain your information only for as long as needed for the purposes above, after which it is deleted or anonymised, except where we are required to retain records under applicable law or SEBI regulations. For signed-in accounts, IP addresses and the city and region derived from them are kept for up to five years from the date of the visit, after which they are erased from our usage records, leaving the remaining usage history with no IP address or city attached. Rate-limiting counters keyed on an IP address are discarded within 24 hours. Daily per-city totals hold no identifiers and are kept indefinitely as statistics. We review retained data periodically and apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
